- Issue
- A tracked problem or incident that needs attention. Issues have statuses, seriousness levels, and can require approvals.
- Monitor
- An automated check that runs periodically to verify service health. Monitors can create issues when they detect problems.
- Seriousness
- How bad the problem is. Levels: Info (FYI), Low (minor), Medium (noticeable impact), High (significant impact), Critical (service down).
- Urgency
- How quickly action is needed. Now (immediate), Soon (today), Can Wait (when available).
- Approval
- A request for authorization before taking an action. Required for high-risk changes.
- Safe Control
- A predefined operational action (like restarting a service) that can be executed safely through the dashboard.
- Data Safety
- Whether user data is at risk. Safe (no risk), At Risk (could be affected), Confirmed Loss (data already affected).
- Reversibility
- How easily an action can be undone. Easy (one click), Moderate (some steps), Hard (complex/impossible).
Quick Tips
- Check the Dashboard first thing each day to see overall health.
- Use the Audit Log to understand what happened if something seems off.
- Always provide a reason when executing Safe Controls - it helps the audit trail.
- When in doubt, ask for approval before taking high-risk actions.
